Welcome to TechPudding and thanks for dropping by! My name is Stephanie Chan and this is my way of sharing spoonfuls of experiences, moments of excitement, and stories of learning and success along my journey as an educational technology leader in a Canadian school board of 225 schools and over 100,000 students.
This blog is for K-12 educators, instructional designers, researchers, and edtech developers who are passionate about delivering real-world value to real-world learners and professionals. It is for those who understand that learning and navigating through our technological landscape is like wading through pudding–you may not know what to expect, but it sure is sweet.

Q&A with TechPudding:
Q: What is your favourite mobile app?
A: CBC radio. Ideas is my favourite show! It’s funny that in a digital age, I enjoy this medium. One of the draws for me is the consistently high quality of the work produced, which is a lot harder to find in the mobile world. I also love the Nike Training Club app. It’s so motivating!
Q: What do you enjoy most about your job?
A: Looking at the big picture through various lenses, problem solving, and helping teachers, students, and edtech developers discover how they can harness constant change and technology to grow and learn in infinite ways. More about this stuff on LinkedIn.
Q: What do you do in your spare time?
A: I enjoy working out (really!), practicing martial arts (wushu and karate), reading short stories by Roald Dahl, and blogging! I also like eating cheese and sushi with great friends and watching movies (my favourites are Hero and Indiana Jones and The Last Cruisade).
Q: What music do you enjoy?
A: My favourite musicians are Mozart, Better than Ezra, and Train’s debut album, but mostly, I listen to CBC radio…
