The following are examples of how I have demonstrated technical competencies by creating support materials for teachers, students, and schools in their use of educational and assistive technologies. All of these materials were created because of staff requests for certain topics in various formats that suited them best. I provide multiple channels of support including co-teaching, modelling, collaborative problem-solving, and instructional planning.
- Experienced at designing and implementing engaging, real-world, inquiry-based, and distributed learning environments using D2L and Web 2.0 tools (e.g. Google apps, WordPress, wikis, blogs, digital storytelling, Creative Commons, online databases, and multimedia tools)
- Teaches students and teachers to integrate multimedia software into learning (e.g. SMART Suite, Audacity, Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Illustrator, Premiere, and MS Office Suite)
